PADI WRECK DIVER

Explore different wreckage of ships, aircraft and other artificial structures. Every wreck is an opportunity for adventure and new discoveries.

Whether purpose-sunk as an artificial reef for scuba divers, or lost as the result of an accident, wrecks are fascinating windows to the past. Ships, airplanes and even cars are fascinating to explore and usually teem with aquatic life.

During four dives with your instructor, you’ll survey and map a wreck, practice special finning techniques and may use penetration lines.
 

PADI BOAT DIVER

Boats open the door to a world of diving that’s inaccessible from shore. Learn boat diving etiquette, terminology and important do’s and don’ts

If you’re new to boat diving or want to learn more about diving from different types of boats, en-roll in the PADI® Boat Diver course.

In the first phase you'll make two dives from a boat where you’ll practice entering and exiting the water and properly stowing your gear. During this time your instructor will also teach you about local boat diving etiquette and safety procedures. In addition to basic scuba gear, you will need a surface signalling device, such as an inflatable signal tube also known as a surface marker buoy or SMB. A spare parts kit is also a good idea. In the last phase of the course your PADI Instructor or local dive center staff may suggest additional equipment depending on where your boat diving adventures take you. You can complete the knowledge portion of this course locally or online with eLearning.
 

PADI DEEP DIVER

If you’re a diver that wants to extend the limits and see more for the underwater world, the PADI Deep Diver course might be the perfect next step in your scuba diving journey.

During the PADI® Deep Diver course, you'll learn how to plan deep dives, manage your gas supply and how to identify and manage narcosis. You'll learn about buddy contact procedures, safety considerations and buoyancy control at depth.

This course will help you gain the necessary skills to dive down beyond your Open Water depth limits. During the first phase of the course you will do four dives with a PADI Instructor, practice descents, buoyancy and safety stops. You will gain the skills and confidence to explore to a maximum depth of 40 meters/130 feet and discover how deep dives affect color, physical objects and your brain. You can complete the knowledge portion of this course locally or online with eLearning.
 

PADI NIGHT DIVER

Why limit yourself to seeing only the marine life that’s active during the day? See the underwater world in a whole new light - after the sun goes down

Although you've been scuba diving at a site many times before, at night you drop into a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light. The scene changes as day creatures retire and nocturnal organisms emerge. 

You’ll learn how to navigate in the dark, where the most interesting creatures hang out, and gain night diving tips from your instructor. You'll start your fist phase by learning how to plan a night dive, practice underwater navigation at night, how to communicate with your buddy during a night dive and learn how to find entry and exit points in the dark. Your instructor will share night diving tips, teach you how to stay in contact with your buddy, and avoid disorientation. This course is also available in eLearning.
 


PADI EMERGENCY OXYGEN PROVIDER

Knowing how and when to use emergency oxygen is a great skill to have and means you’re ready to help others should the need arise.

Becoming a PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider lets you breathe easy knowing that you can recognize scuba diving illnesses treatable with emergency oxygen, and are prepared to offer aid.
There are no prerequisites, age restrictions or water sessions required for this course – it’s open to everyone. Scuba divers, snorkelers and anyone who is around divers – boat crew, lifeguards, etc. – will benefit from having this training.
You’ll learn about dive injuries, different types of emergency oxygen equipment and safety considerations when using oxygen. Then you’ll practice:
  • Assembling and disassembling emergency oxygen equipment.
  • Deploying a non-rebreather mask and a demand inhalator valve on a breathing diver.
  • Using a pocket mask on a non-breathing diver.

PADI pEAK PERFORMANCE BUOYANCY

Improve your buoyancy control, dive with less weight and improve air consumption.

Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You've seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They more easily observe aquatic life without disturbing theirs.

Buoyancy control is essential to becoming a confident, relaxed diver. Being perfectly balanced allows you to float effortlessly, use air more efficiently and deftly approach skittish marine life to get a closer look. In the first phase you will determine how much weight you need and where to place trim weights to streamline your body position. During two dives you’ll fine-tune your weighting during buoyancy checks and master neutral buoyancy with in water practice.
 

PADI underwater navigation

Be the scuba diver everyone wants to follow because you know where you are and where you're going. The PADI Underwater Navigator course fine-tunes your observation skills and teaches you to more accurately use your compass underwater.

It’s easy to get disoriented underwater if you don’t know how to use a compass or natural navigation clues. In the first phase you will Learn how to easily find your way back to the boat or shore without returning to the surface and avoid long, exhausting swims. In the second phase you will practice using a compass on the surface, then apply your skills underwater during three dives. Learn how to estimate distance, follow natural clues and practice finding your way back to the boat or shore.

You'll start your first phase and practice basic rescue skills and then show you can effectively apply them in open water. The water training sessions are serious fun. You'll practice handling scenarios such as a leg cramp and assisting a tired diver by role-playing with other students and your instructor.
 

PADI ENRICHED AIR DIVER

Minimum logged dives is 4. This is a dry course and no dive is required, you can do 1 or 2 dives or more using enriched air at an extra charge.

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. This is a dry course to qualify.

PADI search & recovery

Help recover lost items. Learn effective underwater search techniques and how to use a lift bag.

The next time someone loses an item underwater, you can be the hero that finds the missing object. In the PADI® Search and Recovery course, you’ll learn how to find lost objects underwater. 

Finding items underwater is both challenging and rewarding. You need to know how to gather information, organize a search and choose an effective underwater search pattern. In your first phase your PADI Instructor will give you practice scenarios to build and hone your skills. During four dives, you'll locate objects large and small using different search patterns. You’ll get hands-on experience using a lift bag and, on the last dive, you’ll plan and execute a mock search operation.
